Privacy policy
Last updated 29 July 2026.
This policy covers Global Eye Security Systems and this website. It is written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
What we collect
When you contact us through this website, we collect only what you give us:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The type of site you want secured, and optionally your area
- Anything you write in the message field
Our web server also records standard technical information with each request — your IP address, the time, and which page was requested. This is normal server logging and is used for security and troubleshooting.
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever you share in that conversation. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms, which we do not control.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange a site survey, prepare a quote and — if you become a customer — to carry out and support the installation. That is all. We do not use your details to build a marketing profile.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data. Not to lead brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
- We do not add you to a bulk mailing list because you asked for a quote.
We share information only where it is necessary to do the work you asked for — for example giving a delivery address to a courier — or where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept while they remain commercially relevant and are then deleted. Records relating to completed installations are kept for the life of the system and any maintenance contract, because we need them to service what we installed.
Footage from systems we install
This is worth stating clearly, because it is the question people actually want answered. Recorded footage from a CCTV system we install belongs to you, is stored on your equipment at your premises, and we do not have routine access to it.
We may access your system temporarily during installation, configuration or a support call — with your knowledge and at your request. We do not hold copies of your footage and we do not monitor your cameras.
As the owner of a CCTV system, you are responsible for how it is used: where cameras point, who can view the footage, and telling people that recording takes place. If your cameras can see a neighbouring property or a public area, that carries obligations. We will advise on sensible camera placement, but the legal responsibility for the system is yours.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they came from. It sets cookies in your browser to recognise a repeat visit.
We have configured it more conservatively than the default:
- Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored, so we cannot see your exact address.
- Advertising and cross-device tracking features are switched off. We do not run ads and we do not build remarketing audiences.
We use this only to see which pages are useful and which are not. It does not identify you personally, and we do not combine it with any enquiry you send us.
You can block it entirely: use your browser's privacy settings, or Google's official opt-out browser add-on. The website works exactly the same either way.
We set no advertising cookies of our own, and there is no advertising pixel on this site.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or call +91 9029 292 200 and we will action it. You do not need to give a reason.
